Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford, UK.
The Sheldonian Theatre was designed by Christopher Wren for the University of Oxford and was built in the period 1664 to 1669. It was commissioned by and named after Gilbert Sheldon who was Chancellor of the University at the time. He also financed nearly the entire £14,470 it cost to construct the building.
The building is used by Oxford University for the graduation ceremonies for all students attending the University.
